Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Laura is a compassionate Occupational Therapist, with experience in supporting children and adolescents aged 2 – 17 years living with developmental challenges and mental health concerns.

Laura is passionate about supporting young people to engage in activities that are meaningful to them and their families so that they can live an enriching and fulfilling life. She takes a particular interest in supporting children with:

  • Early childhood developmental concerns
  • Sensory processing concerns
  • Delayed social skills and play skills
  • Delayed functional skills (i.e. toileting, feeding, handwriting)
  • Management of big emotions and complex behaviours in the context of mental health concerns
  • Attentional concerns
  • Overcoming school reluctance
  • Processing past trauma using a trauma informed approach

She completed her undergraduate Occupational Therapy (Honours) degree at The University of Queensland.
