Senior Paediatric Speech & Language Pathologist

Hayley became a speech and language pathologist in 2019 following a passion for helping others and working within a role that would provide a sense of community.

Hayley’s background is working with NDIS Participants from 0-18, supporting people with disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Global Developmental Delay, Intellectual Disability, and other genetic, neurological, developmental and/or chromosomal disorders.

Hayley’s passion is in individualising and tailoring her approach to support people with disability. Whether addressing difficulties with speech-sounds, motor praxis, language development, literacy skills, or the use of Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), Hayley’s goal is to make all therapy participants and their support network feel valued and understood.

Hayley works to increase her clients’ skills in communicating, understanding, and engaging in the community and the overall quality of life for the person with a disability.

Hayley has formalised training in:

  • Sounds Write
  • Gestalt Language Acquisition
  • HANEN – It takes two to talk
  • Beginner Key Word Sign

Hayley has a special interest and experience in working with paediatric clients with neurological disorders.

A 2019 graduate, Hayley has a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours) from the University of Queensland.

Hayley is based in North Brisbane and accepts referrals in and around this area and Moreton Bay.
