Kassandra is a thoughtful and insightful speech pathologist with a broad range of experience gained from positions in acute hospitals, neurological rehabilitation, community clinics, and aged care.
She is adept at providing services in a variety of settings to meet the needs of her clients. Kassandra supports her clients to work towards their own personal goals using contemporary, evidence-based practice. She enjoys making therapy fun, practical and relevant to the individual lives of her clients. Kassandra understands the importance of working collaboratively with all stakeholders to facilitate positive outcomes for her clients.
Kassandra’s area of particular interest is working with adults in the assessment and management of chronic dysphagia (swallowing difficulties), stroke rehabilitation, and cognitive-communication disorders. Kassandra also brings experience across management of progressive neurological conditions (e.g., Parkinson’s Disease, MND, Huntington’s Disease), acquired brain injuries, voice, fluency, speech, and language.
Kassandra has a Master of Speech Pathology from Griffith University, and is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist.
Kassandra works around the Brisbane area, and can travel to clients or see clients in clinic at Graceville or Bulimba.
