Michelle has over twenty years clinical experience in working with children with disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) and Down Syndrome. She has also worked with children and young adults with neuromuscular disorders such as Spinal Muscle Atrophy (SMA), Spina Bifida and Muscular Dystrophy.
Michelle has expertise in developing individualised and family-friendly functional activity programs to achieve improvement in gross motor function, balance, muscle strength and coordination.
Michelle has a particular interest in working with families with younger children with severe disabilities, supporting them to achieve their family’s mobility goals.
Michelle has a Master of Health Science (Paediatric Physiotherapy) from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland.
Michelle is based on the Northside of Brisbane and is available in the broader Brisbane region.
